The volunteer day recap

Brief
Your group did a service day: a park cleanup, a food drive, a painting day at the shelter. Build the recap page with photos, the numbers (bags collected, meals packed, hours worked), and the names of who showed up. Then hand it to the organization so they can share it. The page is a gift to them, which means they get final say over it.
Personalize
- The day and the organization. A service day that already happened or is about to, with an organization on the other end. The organization's contact person is your client; introduce yourself and the idea before building.
- The numbers. Ask the organizer what they count. Organizations report to funders in numbers, and the recap that includes theirs is the recap they will use.
- The photo and name rules. Volunteers are okayed individually; photos taken at a shelter or with an organization's clients may be off-limits entirely. The organization's rules win, and asking first is part of the project.
Milestones
- Contact the organization, pitch the recap, and learn their photo and naming rules.
- Gather the material: photos from the day, the counts, the volunteer list.
- Consent pass: every named or pictured volunteer says yes; anything failing the organization's rules is cut.
- Recap live at a URL: what happened, the numbers, the photos, a thank-you list.
- The organization reviews it; their edits applied; their sign-off recorded.
- Handoff: the organization shares the link through their own channel (newsletter, social, site), and your group gets it too. Final README.
Done means
- Live URL responding; numbers and date accurate per the organizer
- Organization's sign-off recorded in the README
- Every named or pictured person consented; the organization's photo rules were followed, noted in the README
- The organization shared the link through a channel of theirs, with evidence in the README
- At least 8 commits across at least 5 distinct days, authored by you
- SESSIONS.md has an entry per session, written by you
