The definitive local ranking
Use with: build-website. Resume line when done: Built {project_name}, a criteria-scored review site of {count} local {category} spots — live at {url}
Brief
Every taco, boba, or pizza place within walking distance of school, visited by you and scored on the same fixed criteria, published as a table with visit dates. The methodology is the product: same scorer, same criteria, every visit dated. That is more than most review sites can say.
Personalize
- The category and the boundary. One food or drink category you can afford to sample, inside a boundary you state on the page. Every place inside the boundary gets visited; skipping the far one breaks the "definitive" claim.
- Your criteria. Four or five, decided before the first visit, with a defined scale for each. Price paid is a column, since you are the one paying.
- Your tastes, disclosed. You hate cilantro or love extra-sweet; say so on the page so readers can calibrate against you.
Milestones
- List every qualifying place; lock the criteria and scales in writing before visiting.
- Do the visits; score each place on-site or the same day, with date and price paid.
- Structure the scores into one data file.
- Publish the table: sortable or ranked, every score and visit date shown, criteria explained above it.
- Write the short verdict: the winner, the surprise, and anything a single visit cannot settle.
Done means
- Live URL with the full table, criteria definitions, and visit dates
- Every place inside the stated boundary visited and scored; none skipped silently
- Criteria locked before visits and unchanged after (or the change is disclosed on the page)
- Scores are yours from your visits; nothing imported from review sites
- At least 5 commits across at least 4 distinct days, authored by you
- SESSIONS.md has an entry per session, written by you
