A grandparent's life story

Brief
Sit down with a grandparent, take notes, and build the page: where they grew up, what they worked as, the moves, the stories they always tell at dinner. You are the writer; they are the source and the editor. They approve every word before it goes live, which is a constraint most first projects never teach: publishing about a person who gets a veto.
Personalize
- The grandparent. Or a great-aunt, or the oldest relative who will talk to you. Ask them first, and explain a web page to them in whatever terms land.
- The interview questions. Write ten before you sit down, then abandon the list when a story gets going. Take notes or record with permission.
- The artifacts. Old photos, a wedding invitation, a work badge. Ask what they still have and scan what they lend you.
Milestones
- A page with their name and one paragraph live at a URL, day one.
- First interview done; notes typed up the same day while you remember the tone.
- The story drafted in sections: early life, work, family, the stories. Read it to them and mark every correction.
- Scanned photos and artifacts placed where they belong in the story.
- Second read-through; they approve the final text word by word.
- Styling that suits them, shown to them on a phone or tablet they can hold. Final README.
Done means
- Live URL responding; readable on the device they own
- Word-by-word approval from the subject, recorded in the README
- At least five scanned photos or artifacts in the story
- Two interview sessions logged with dates
- At least 8 commits across at least 5 distinct days, authored by you
- SESSIONS.md has an entry per session, written by you
